I’ve decided to branch out a little bit to widen my reach. From now on I will be cross-posting my poems between this site and Allpoetry.com. I already love it there – the site is beautiful, and the post editor gives recommendations for writings: things like if you are using “weak” words, how similar your poem is to more professionally published pieces, and suggestions to make poems more of a living image and less of a diary (which if you know me and have read my past rants, you know how much I despise confessional poetry and its popularity).

I also like how the site will pick random poems every day to share on the main page. The social aspect and support of fellow poets seems organic and encouraging.
