I have participated in this for the past three years (and also during November in place of National Novel Writing Month), but I usually don’t post as I go. The poems I compose are never ready in a single day to be shared. This year is a bit different. In past years, I have gone to the Writer’s Digest website and followed their Poem-a-Day prompts, saving my drafts to Evernote or Word. This year, I am entering a daily contest on AllPoetry, where an image prompt is provided. I still plan on using the Writer’s Digest prompt as well — by combining both prompts, I expect to see some interesting results.
For the reasons I’ve just listed, I will not be posting them here yet, but once April is over, I will revisit them all and do some editing. May will be filled with April’s poems.
